What is collected?
- If you play without an account, a guest account is made to save your scores. It only holds a random ID and your results.
- If you create an account, we will store your email, your username and your password(stored hashed, so nobody can read it).
- Puzzle submissions are stored: Your score, the day you played the puzzle, and your puzzle placements.
Why is it collected?
- Saving your historical results, stats, and streaks.
- Showing the player score distribution for each puzzle. The distribution keeps all player's informations anonymous, only showing scores.
- Account related functions such as signing in & changing password.
Your data is never sold, never used for ads and never used to track you across other websites.
Cookies?
3CT doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies. Your browser's local storage is used to save your puzzle progress and keep you signed in, only so the game works.
Who else handles it?
- Supabase stores accounts and scores.
- The web host may log visitors' IP addresses for security.
- jsDelivr and Google Fonts deliver code and fonts, so they see your IP address when the page loads.
How long is it kept?
Your account and scores are kept until you ask for them to be deleted.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by emailing hello@3colourtheorem.com. If you're in the UK or EU, you can also complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, that's the ICO).
